We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our growing team (We would also consider a fourth year apprentice). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, maintenance, and diagnostics, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong diagnostics and trouble shooting abilities are highly valued.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive repairs and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles, including engine diagnostics, and electrical systems.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to execute repairs accurately and efficiently.
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues.
- Conduct vehicle inspections to identify potential problems before they become major repairs.
- Provide detailed notes on work orders explaining findings and/or repairs conducted.
- Maintain a clean workspace.
Experience
- Proven mechanical experience with a solid understanding of automotive systems.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely as part of routine maintenance tasks.
- Knowledge of automotive repair techniques, diagnostics, and maintenance protocols.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills.
- This position requires a motivated individual committed to quality workmanship and continuous learning within the automotive industry.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $28.00-$45.00 per hour
