Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Millwright with electrician experience to join our industrial maintenance team. This role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing complex machinery and electrical systems within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, electrical expertise, and the ability to interpret schematics and technical documentation. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, including HVAC systems, boilers, welding, and low voltage electrical systems, ensuring optimal plant operations and safety compliance.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment, including conveyors, pumps, motors, and HVAC systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues using schematics, analysis skills, and diagnostic tools.
- Install, modify, and upgrade electrical systems with a focus on low voltage applications.
- Operate and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and assist with CMMS updates for work orders and asset management.
- Conduct welding repairs and assist with boiler maintenance as needed.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to replace bearings, belts, gears, and other machine components.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment performance.
- Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities and inspections.
Requirements
- Valid license as a Millwright 442A with electrician experience.
- Proven industrial electrician experience with a strong understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and low voltage wiring.
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CMMS software, HVAC systems, boilers, welding techniques, and mechanical maintenance.
- Knowledge of industrial maintenance best practices within manufacturing settings.
- Strong analysis skills for troubleshooting complex machinery issues efficiently.
- Mechanical knowledge related to industrial equipment repair and installation.
- Excellent communication skills in English for effective teamwork and documentation.
- Customer service orientation to support internal clients’ needs effectively.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. This role is integral to maintaining the reliability of our manufacturing operations through expert technical skills and proactive maintenance strategies.
Pay: $30.13-$45.00 per hour
