Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Assistant to support our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing clerical tasks, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring smooth office operations. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional environment where organizational skills and proficiency with office software are highly valued. This will be a 3day work week to start - Monday to Wednesday, 8am to 5pm.
Responsibilities
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
- Manage phone systems, answer inquiries, and direct calls appropriately with professional phone etiquette
- Assist with filing, document management, and general administrative support
- Support front desk operations, including greeting visitors and handling customer support interactions
- Provide support with collecting timesheets and payroll entry
- Assist in administrative tasks as needed
Skills & Requirements
- Proven experience with Office experience, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new software quickly
- Experience with data entry, filing, and clerical tasks in a professional setting
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle front desk responsibilities effectively
- Familiarity with phone systems and phone etiquette standards
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$21.00 per hour
