Job Summary
NextGen Eco Services is seeking experienced on-call Residential and Commercial Cleaners to join our team. We are looking for reliable, detail-oriented, and professional individuals who can provide high-quality cleaning services for homes, offices, and commercial facilities across Edmonton and surrounding areas.
This position is ideal for cleaners who are flexible, experienced, and able to maintain clean, safe, and well-presented spaces at different job sites.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential homes, including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living rooms, basements, and common areas
- Clean commercial spaces such as offices, restrooms, lobbies, hallways, and shared areas
- Complete regular cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, disinfecting surfaces, garbage removal, and floor care
- Assist with deep cleaning, move-in/move-out cleaning, office cleaning, and general home or business cleaning as needed
- Respond to on-call cleaning requests in a timely and professional manner
- Safely and properly use cleaning products, supplies, and equipment
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and professionalism in accordance with company and client expectations
- Report any damages, maintenance concerns, or issues noticed during the cleaning
- Complete all assigned tasks efficiently and with strong attention to detail
Requirements
- Previous experience in residential and/or commercial cleaning preferred
- Must have your own reliable transportation to travel to different job sites
- Must have your own cleaning supplies and equipment
- Must be available for on-call work and able to adapt to different schedules and locations
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, equipment, and safety procedures
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be reliable, professional, respectful, and detail-oriented
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties, including lifting, bending, standing, and moving for extended periods
Preferred Supplies and Equipment
Candidates should have access to basic cleaning supplies and equipment, such as:
- Vacuum
- Mop and bucket
- Microfiber cloths/rags
- Broom and dustpan
- Disinfectant and all-purpose cleaner
- Glass cleaner
- Bathroom cleaning products
- Kitchen cleaning products
- Gloves and basic PPE
- Garbage bags
- Any additional residential or commercial cleaning tools and equipment
