Journeyperson & Apprentice Pipefitters
To work at our Suncor 4.5 Project in the Fort McMurray area
SALARY: Up to $56.16 per hour
OVERTIME: After 8 hours in a day, or 40 hours in a week
TRAVEL: Based on location
START DATE: July 22 2026
SCHEDULE: 14 days on, 7days off
HOURS PER DAY: 10hours per day
PAY SCHEDULE: Weekly Pay (Friday)
SHIFT: Dayshift
ACCOMODATIONS: Camp
DURATION: 18 months
WORK SCOPE: Brownfield
Working Conditions:
Full-time, Temporary

Requirements:
- Must have a valid Journeyperson or Apprentice Certification from a recognized provincial training authority
- CSTS 2020 Certification
- WHMIS 2015
- ESC Elevated Work Platform
- ESC Fall Protection
- CSO
- Confined Space Entry
- H2S Awareness
- Must have demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision
- Previous industrial construction experience is an assetResponsibilities
- Demonstrates knowledge of functional operation of various piping system components by measuring, cutting, threading, grooving and bending of pipes, valves and fittings
- Assembles and installs piping sections according to blueprints and job specifications
- Performs physically demanding tasks such as cutting openings for pipe while standing for extended periods of time and securing pipe in hard-to-reach areas
- Uses testing equipment effectively to check for system leaks and troubleshoot fitting errors
- May perform other related duties as assigned
- Complete all required safety documentation
- Working at heights and outdoors
Pay: $39.32-$56.16 per hour
