Jenny's by Forest of Flowers is currently recruiting a part time experienced Floral Designer/Sales Associate for our Sarnia location.
Position requires the following:
- Floral Design Experience (minimum 2 years)
- Retail sales experience
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment
- POS/Computer experience
Customer Service Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assisting and serving customers quickly & efficiently as needed
- Entering customer information into the computer
- Must be sales oriented
Floral Designer Responsibilities:
It is the job of the designer to keep the cooler filled with fresh and artistic arrangements. A designer must constantly update themselves with new and original ideas to keep customers coming back. It is very important that they know how to care for the flowers and be able to pass that information on to our customers. It is equally important that they know the company’s pricing strategy in order to properly price all the designs.

Physical Requirements:
- Lifting/carrying 25-40 lbs
- Standing for extended periods of time (8 hours)
- Exposure to pollen
- Repetitive use of hands (8 hours)
Hours: varies depending on experience/availability
It is a requirement of this industry that all employees be available and willing to work evenings, weekends, and during seasonal peak periods.
Peak periods are as follows: The two (2) weeks preceding Valentine’s Day including Valentine’s Day, two (2) weeks preceding Mother’s Day including Mother’s Day, two (2) weeks preceding Christmas, one (1) week preceding Easter including Easter Sunday, and one (1) week preceding Thanksgiving.
