Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
- Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and consistency
- Assist in food prep tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety and sanitation regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts
- Support the team in meal assembly during busy service hours
- Follow all food safety guidelines to prevent cross-contamination and ensure proper storage of ingredients
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth kitchen operations
Experience
- Prior experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation
- Experience working in fast-paced environments with attention to detail
- Strong understanding of the food industry standards for quality, safety, and cleanliness
