At Select Engineering Consultants (SEC), we’re not just engineers…. we’re collaborators, community builders, and creative problem-solvers who love what we do. Based in Edmonton and serving communities across Alberta, we’ve built a reputation for practical, high-quality work, trusted client relationships, and a workplace culture people genuinely love. Plus, we’re just a little obsessed with delivering amazing results!
We’re all about collaboration, mentorship, and momentum. Our senior team has deep roots in land development, municipal infrastructure, and planning, and they’re not just leaders, they’re mentors who love passing along what they’ve learned. That means no silos, no egos—just a team that lifts each other up and learns together.
Because we’ve got civil engineering, planning, sport + rec, and landscape architecture all under one roof, we solve problems fast and get stuff done without waiting on outsiders. We also have strong relationships with contractors, clients, and sub-consultants, which means when something needs to happen, we make it happen.
