Inked Energy is a Oil and Gas Construction company local to Grande Prairie that is involved in facility and pipeline construction, fabrication, and maintenance.
The Dispatcher is responsible for the scheduling and dispatching of drivers, crews, and equipment for duration of scheduled shift. The Dispatcher’s responsibilities also consist of assigning drivers to trucks and providing accurate directions to locations. The role includes providing support in a fast paced, high call volume office environment. The role includes completion of operational and data entry tasks as necessary in a timely and accurate manner.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Appropriately scheduling work & dispatching trucks and employees in an organized manner
- Provide accurate directions, direct pickup & deliveries of drivers
- Relay messages and information to or from crews, field supervisors, and management.
- Update dispatch crew book and computer tracking programs daily for information.
- Work in conjunction with management to administer and track discipline of employees and participate in employee evaluations as needed.
- Work with the HSE department to complete monthly inspections and audits.
- Strong communication skills, able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
- Other job duties as required, as the above duties and responsibilities may change based on requirements in the always changing workforce.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- 2-5 years of directly related experience
- Oil Field Industry knowledge
- Above average computer skills – Outlook, Excel, Word
- Strong communication skills and ability to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times
- Ability to maintain client and employee relationships
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
