Position Summary
The Resident Support Worker (RSW) provides personal care, companionship, and daily living support to residents while promoting their dignity, independence, comfort, and safety.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
- Support residents with meals, hydration, and activities of daily living.
- Monitor and report changes in resident condition.
- Administer or assist with medications as permitted by training and policy.
- Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
- Provide companionship and encourage participation in social and recreational activities.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
- Work collaboratively with residents, families, and team members.
Qualifications
- Personal Support Worker (PSW) certificate or relevant experience preferred.
- Experience working with seniors is an asset.
- Current CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused.
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
