We are currently accepting resumes for experienced and qualified marine engineers (3rd class & 4th class), for rotational work aboard our vessels.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor performance, maintenance and repair of all machinery and electrical equipment
- Carry out refueling procedures at various ports of call
- Ensure that proper engine room watchkeeping arrangements are in place
- Ensure that the vessel’s maintenance program is implemented and maintained
- Ensure that adequate engine room stores, supplies and spare parts are available on board for the intended voyage
- Utilize software to track and report on daily activities

Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid 3rd or 4th class marine engineer CoC (2nd class marine engineers welcome to apply)
- STCW Basic Safety
- STCW Survival Craft
- STCW Advanced Firefighting
- Valid Basic or Advanced Marine First Aid Certificate
- Valid and Unlimited Transport Canada Marine Medical
- Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to operate software applications relevant to position
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
- Proven track record of relevant offshore experience in the marine sector
- Experience with Diesel Electric considered an asset
- Experience with complex electrical systems considered an asset
- French fluency considered an asset
