Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Daycare Supervisor to lead the daily operations of our licensed child care centre. The Supervisor is responsible for ensuring a safe, nurturing, and high-quality environment for children while maintaining full compliance with Ontario regulations and supporting a positive, professional team culture.
Key Responsibilities
Licensing, Compliance & Safety
- Ensure full compliance with CCEYA, licensing standards, and health & safety regulations
- Prepare for and manage licensing inspections
- Maintain required records, policies, and documentation
- Monitor ratios, supervision, and safe practices at all times
Staff Leadership & Management
- Hire, mentor, schedule, and evaluate educators
- Support ongoing professional development
- Address staff performance and foster a positive team environment
- Ensure adequate staffing and ratio coverage daily
Program & Curriculum Oversight
- Guide implementation of a play-based, Christian programming
- Support educators with planning, observations, and documentation
- Ensure developmentally appropriate practices in all classrooms
Family & Community Relations
- Build strong, respectful relationships with families
- Address parent concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Conduct tours and support enrolment processes
Qualifications
- Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) in good standing
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a licensed child care setting
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Supervisor in a licensed child care setting
- Strong knowledge of CCEYA and licensing requirements
- Valid Standard First Aid & CPR (Level C)
- Vulnerable Sector Police Check

Pay: $30.00-$33.00 per hour
