Landscape Labourer
Michael Durham Landscaping
Michael Durham Landscaping is looking for hardworking and reliable Landscape Labourers to join our growing team. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, take pride in physical work, and work well as part of a team.
As a Landscape Labourer, you will assist with the completion of landscaping projects while maintaining strong communication with your foreman and crew members to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the completion of residential and commercial landscaping projects
- Follow directions and maintain clear communication with the foreman
- Perform physical labour including lifting, digging, grading, and material installation
- Assist with tasks such as:
- Sod installation
- Mulching
- Planting
- Hardscape preparation
- Property cleanups
- Operate basic landscaping tools and equipment safely
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Work efficiently as part of a team to meet project deadlines
- Follow all company safety procedures and standards
Qualifications
- Previous landscaping or construction experience is required
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed
