About us
Farhat & McGee Removals and Services Ltd. is a new removal service to London and the surrounding area. We are currently expanding our team and are looking for a part-time Funeral director/ INTERN to assit with transfers and embalmings.
Our ideal candidate is a class 1 funeral director, works well in a team environment, is energetic, eager, passionate, and is looking to make a difference in the lives of the families we serve.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Transfer human remains from the place of death which includes hospitals, nursing homes and private residences to the funeral establishment
- Confirm identification of the human remains being transferred, ensuring that the relevant information from the Medical Certification of Death is recorded
- Drive company vehicles with or without passengers, as required per removal
- Maintains and ensures removal vehicles are clean and well organized
Skills & Qualifications:
- Funeral Directors class 1 license
- Confident in embalming skills
- A valid G Class Driver's Licence
- Acts as a representative of the funeral home when interacting with healthcare staff and family members
- Physically fit, ability to lift, push & pull 150 - 200 lbs. with knowledge & use of safe lifting skills
- Professional appearance and adherence to dress code required
- Maintain high ethical and confidentiality standards
