McT Construction is looking for a motivated and reliable Labourer with the goal of developing into a skilled Carpenter. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in quality workmanship, and wants to build a long-term career in the construction industry.
What You'll Do
- Assist carpenters with residential and commercial construction projects
- Load, unload, and organize materials and tools
- Perform site preparation, demolition, and cleanup
- Assist with framing, siding, decks, renovations, and finish carpentry
- Learn construction techniques, building practices, and safe work procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site
- Work alongside experienced carpenters and project leaders to develop new skills
What We're Looking For
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment
- Comfortable using hand and power tools, or willingness to learn
- Ability to lift and carry construction materials
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
- Previous construction experience is an asset but not required
