Premier Granite & Stone is hiring a Granite & Quartz Fabricator / Polisher to join our growing team serving Edmonton and surrounding areas.
Job Summary
We are seeking a Fabricator/Polisher to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating quartz and granite countertops. This role requires attention to detail, and experience with various tools and equipment. This postion would require some flexibility as you may sometimes need to assist the installation team. The Polisher plays a vital part in ensuring that products meet quality standards and specifications, contributing to the overall success of our production processes.
Duties
- Report to work at 845am-9am, Monday to Friday, Saturdays as needed
- Fabricate and polish granite, quartz, porcelain, and stone countertops
- Operate fabrication equipment and hand tools safely
- Edge profiling, polishing, cutting, and finishing stone surfaces
- Assist with countertop assembly and preparation for installation
- Read measurements and shop drawings accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace (all employees are required to help with cleaning, organizing equipment & material, etc. at the shop)
- Help with loading/unloading slabs and materials when needed
- Communicate and coordinate with the production team

- Mounting sinks
- Installing miters
- Completing seams
- Drivers license
- Operating forklift
- Experience operating overhead crane
- Countertop installation experience
