We are looking for a full-time or part-time Certified RV Technician to join our growing service department in Peace River, Alberta. Thomas Homes and RV Centre is an authorized BRP dealer (Ski-Doo and Can-Am), recreational vehicle and manufactured home dealer. We are looking for friendly, motivated, technician to join our team.
Duties Include:
· General repairs and maintenance on recreational vehicles and manufactured homes
· Deals with challenging situations in a professional manner.
· Working with the service advisors to complete required tasks on repair orders.
· Complete required paperwork with details of repairs completed.
· Complete all approved repairs as per repair work orders and noting any other issues found.
· Troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance on propane & electric appliances such as RV furnace, water heater, refrigerators, ranges, air conditioners and charging systems.
· Repairs and maintenance to RV roofs, windows, doors, awnings etc.
· Any other duties as assigned*
· Any other duties may be assigned based on the dealerships needs & requirements
Requirements or Assets:
· Strong communication skills, ability to listen carefully, and to give precise instructions
· Time management and prioritization skills
· Strong work ethic and positive attitude with the ability to work independently or as a team
· Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving abstract
· Carpentry skills, mechanically inclined
· Pride in workmanship and a desire to build a good reputation of ability.
· Ability to lift excess of 80 lbs at times.
· Certified RV Technician accreditation.

The schedule would be 8 hr shifts, Monday to Friday
Must be in, or willing to relocate to Peace River, Alberta. We can offer a possible availability of rental housing options or discuss options if relocation is required for the right applicant.
