We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dispatch Coordinator to support our transportation operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating drivers, scheduling deliveries and pickups, tracking shipments, and ensuring excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and dispatch drivers for local and regional deliveries.
- Monitor shipments and provide updates to customers.
- Communicate with drivers regarding schedules, route changes, and customer requirements.
- Prepare and maintain dispatch records and transportation documentation.
- Resolve delivery issues and service concerns promptly.
- Work closely with customers, drivers, and warehouse personnel.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and transportation regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous dispatch or transportation experience preferred.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and transportation management software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Edmonton and surrounding areas is an asset.
Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
