EDUCATION:
Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, or Mathematics from a recognized post-secondary institution, including recent coursework in database management, data warehousing, cloud computing, and software testing is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum three (3) years of experience in data testing, data validation, or ETL/warehouse QA within large-scale or cloud data environments including proven experience in testing data pipelines, ETL processes, and cloud-based data integrations, advanced proficiency in SQL and Microsoft SQL Server.
Experience validating Azure Data Factory or Azure Synapse Analytics workflows, background in test automation and scripting using Python or equivalent languages and familiarity with data observability, data profiling, and data governance frameworks preferred.
Up to one (1) year of on-the-job experience may be required to gain familiarity with TransLink’s specific systems and practices.
