Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. Responsibilities
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or other modalities.
- Assess client conditions and discuss treatment goals to develop personalized massage plans.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend future sessions or wellness practices.
- Keep detailed records of treatments provided and client progress.
- Uphold professionalism and confidentiality at all times while fostering a relaxing environment.
- Stay current with industry best practices and continuing education opportunities to enhance skills.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Massage Therapist is preferred but not required; training will be provided for qualified candidates.
- Knowledge of medical terminology is advantageous for understanding client conditions and treatment plans.
- Strong customer service skills are essential to create a welcoming atmosphere and build lasting client relationships.
- Excellent communication skills are necessary for effectively discussing treatment options and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Certification or licensing as required by state regulations must be obtained prior to employment. Pay: $39.57-$100.78 per hour
