Content Creator
30 Seconds on Us
Chin Mounts is a fast-growing eCommerce brand specializing in action camera mounts designed for motorcycle, motocross, mountain biking, and a wide range of action sports worldwide. We move fast, work smart, and don't believe in micromanagement—we believe in ownership. Expect a lean, action-focused culture where results matter, autonomy is earned, and great ideas come from anyone.
Job Overview
As Content Creator at Chin Mounts, you'll own the visual storytelling that drives our brand and sales. You'll shoot and edit content for paid ads, UGC-style creative, and organic social—often on location at tracks, trails, and events, hauling product, bikes, and gear to get the shot. This is a hands-on creative role for someone who can concept, shoot, edit, and post without needing to be told what's next.
Why We're Hiring for the Role
Content is the engine behind our ads and our organic growth, and right now that work is spread thin across the team instead of owned by a dedicated creator. As we scale, we need fresh, high-performing creative flowing consistently—not in bursts. We're looking for someone who can take full ownership of content production and turn it into a repeatable system, not a one-person scramble.
Tour of Duty Objective: The objective for this role over the next 12 months is to build a consistent, high-output content engine that fuels our paid ad creative, UGC library, and organic channels. This includes establishing a repeatable production and posting cadence, growing organic channels into a real acquisition source, and becoming the go-to person behind the camera for every shoot—on location or in-house.
Key Responsibilities:
Paid Ad Content
How we currently do it: Ad creative is produced ad hoc, often outsourced or pulled together last minute to keep campaigns fed. We need a dedicated creator who can consistently supply fresh, testable ad content.
Responsibilities:
- Shoot and edit short-form video ad creative for Meta, TikTok, and YouTube
- Concept new ad angles and hooks based on what's currently working and what's fatiguing
- Turn around a steady volume of ad variants to keep campaigns testing and performing
- Work with marketing to align content with current offers and campaigns
UGC-Style Content
How we currently do it: UGC content is inconsistent and often sourced externally. We want someone who can produce authentic, native-feeling content in-house at a much faster pace.
Responsibilities:
- Create UGC-style product demos, testimonials, unboxings, and day-in-the-life content
- Perform on camera when needed, in a natural, native-feeling style
- Build a growing library of raw and edited UGC assets for the marketing team to pull from
- Stay ahead of UGC trends and formats that convert on social and in ads
Organic Social
How we currently do it: Organic social is currently under-resourced and inconsistent, leaving growth on the table. This role will own it end to end.
Responsibilities:
- Run organic content across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
- Maintain a consistent posting cadence and content calendar
- Track what's trending in the action sports space and adapt it to the brand
- Monitor performance and double down on what's working
On-Location Production & Logistics
How we currently do it: A lot of our best content comes from tracks, trails, and events, which means getting people, bikes, and gear to the location. This currently falls on whoever's available and has the right license.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute on-location shoots at motocross, motorcycle, and mountain bike events
- Drive and haul product, bikes, and equipment to and from shoot locations (Class 6 license required)
- Coordinate shoot logistics, scheduling, and talent/riders as needed
- Keep gear organized and ready to go for short-notice shoot opportunities
Content Strategy & Collaboration
How we currently do it: Content decisions are currently made informally. We want this role to bring structure and a point of view to what we create and why.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with marketing on campaign concepts and creative direction
- Build a repeatable system for planning, producing, and archiving content
- Report on content performance and use it to inform future shoots
- Continuously raise the creative bar across ads, UGC, and organic
Experience & Qualifications
Need to Have:
- Valid Class 6 license (British Columbia) is required
- Proven experience creating content for ads, UGC, and organic social (portfolio/reel required)
- Strong shooting and editing skills (Premiere, CapCut, or similar)
- Comfortable both on-camera and behind it
- Self-starter who can run a shoot independently, start to finish
- Based in lower mainland
- Relentless attention to detail and a bias toward action
Nice to Have:
- Experience in the motorcycle, motocross, or action sports industry
- Photography skills alongside video
