We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Pawn & Retail Associate to join our team. Bilingual abilities and experience in technology sales or product demos are highly valued to enhance customer engagement and sales performance.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products or services
- Provide product demonstrations and technical sales support to educate customers about features and benefits
- Operate POS systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and processing payments
- Upsell products and services to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays and stock levels according to company guidelines
- Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
- Manage time effectively to ensure smooth store operations during peak hours
- Assist with inventory management, including stock replenishment and product organization
- Ensure the area is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Previous experience in retail/dispensary sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for merchandising and stock management
- Ability to perform product demos and explain technical features clearly to customers
- Demonstrated ability to upsell products while maintaining a focus on customer needs
- Good phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for engaging with diverse customers
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment with strong time management skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities within the retail environment
- Some knowledge of pawning and how it works, or willing to learn
