Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Dump Truck Driver - Class 1 to join our team. The ideal candidate will operate heavy-duty dump trucks to transport materials safely and efficiently across various job sites. This role requires a strong focus on safety, vehicle maintenance, and timely delivery of loads. Candidates with experience in commercial driving, heavy equipment operation, and automotive repair are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities
- Operate Class 1 dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, dirt, or construction debris to designated locations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment, including forklifts when necessary
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance records
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during transportation activities
- Perform basic vehicle repairs or troubleshooting as needed to ensure optimal operation
- Assist with freight handling and other heavy equipment operations as required on-site
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered

Experience
- Valid Class 1 commercial driver’s license (CDL) with clean driving record
- Prior experience operating dump trucks or heavy equipment preferred
- Knowledge of forklift operation, freight handling, and automotive repair is a plus
- Proven ability to perform heavy equipment operation safely and efficiently
- Strong understanding of safety regulations related to commercial driving and heavy machinery
Pay: $30.00-$32.00 per hour
