Duties
- Provide professional hair styling services including cuts, color, treatments, and styling tailored to client preferences
- Deliver outstanding customer service by understanding client needs and offering personalized recommendations
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work area in compliance with health standards
- Upsell retail products to enhance client experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and handling check-ins/check-outs
- Educate clients on hair care routines and product usage to promote ongoing maintenance at home
- Build strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and positive reviews
Experience
- Proven experience as a hairstylist with a portfolio demonstrating diverse skills in cutting, coloring, and styling
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients of all ages
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures and best practices in a salon environment
- Ability to upsell retail products confidently while maintaining professionalism
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients and team members
- Prior experience managing front desk operations or retail sales is a plus but not required
