About the Role
We are hiring a reliable, hands-on team member to support our automotive, equipment, and service operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, problem-solving, and keeping vehicles/equipment organized and operational.
You will help with car procurement support, parts ordering, detailing coordination, basic troubleshooting, and equipment readiness (snow removal tools, trailers, pressure washers, etc.). This is not a high-pressure corporate role—just structured, real work with clear expectations.
Key Responsibilities (Job Description)
- Assist with buying/selling vehicles (basic paperwork support, photos, listings, coordination)
- Post vehicles on platforms (Facebook Marketplace, Kijiji, etc.) and respond to inquiries professionally
- Procure parts (order correct parts, compare prices, track deliveries, returns)
- Coordinate with mechanics/body shops and support follow-ups on repairs
- Basic vehicle checks (battery boost, tire inflation, lights, fluids—within your comfort level)
- Coordinate and/or perform detailing (booking, prep, quality checks)
- Track inventory of keys, documents, parts, and vehicle status (ready/listed/repair/sold)
- Assist with equipment organization and readiness (trailers, straps, compressors, tools, snow gear)
- Help prevent cost inflation by obtaining 2 quotes when needed and documenting vendor pricing
Unique Requirements (What We Need)
- Strong organization and follow-through (you finish what you start)
- Comfortable using a phone for photos, messages, listings, and tracking tasks
- Valid driver’s license (preferred) and comfortable driving locally (asset)
- Basic knowledge of cars/equipment OR strong willingness to learn quickly
- Able to communicate clearly with shops/contractors without confusion
- Trustworthy and responsible with keys, assets, and spending approvals
Nice to Have (Not Mandatory)
- Experience with detailing, parts procurement, auctions, or shop coordination
- Basic mechanical or automotive electrical familiarity (diagnosing issues, not heavy repairs)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 44 per week
