Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC router to produce precision countertops according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical processes, attention to detail, and the ability to read blueprints effectively. The CNC Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality production while adhering to safety standards.
Duties
- Operate CNC router and other related equipment to fabricate countertops to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to determine machining operations.
- Set up machines for production runs, including selecting appropriate tools and fixtures.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines and troubleshoot any operational issues.
- Utilize hand tools and measuring instruments such as calipers to ensure precision in production.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various machinery.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical documentation.
- Familiarity with CAD software is a plus.
- Ability to operate crane and forklifts safely; certification preferred.
- Competence in using hand tools and measuring devices such as calipers.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
