Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Line Cook to join our kitchen team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items at an assigned station, working efficiently as part of a team to deliver high-quality meals to our guests. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items at your assigned station (grill, sauté, fry, salad, or prep) according to recipes and presentation standards
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary ingredients and supplies before each shift
- Cook orders quickly and accurately during busy service times
- Ensure all food is prepared to the correct temperature, portion, and quality
- Follow proper food safety, sanitation, and storage procedures at all times
- Keep your station clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout your shift
- Communicate clearly with other cooks, servers, and kitchen staff to keep service running smoothly
- Assist with prep work, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Help with closing duties such as cleaning equipment, breaking down stations, and proper food storage
- Follow all restaurant policies, health regulations, and safety guidelines
Requirements
- Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role preferred (entry-level candidates with strong willingness to learn are welcome)
- Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Food handler's certification a plus
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, work in a hot environment, and lift up to 50 lbs
Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
