We are looking for an experienced Veterinary Assistant / Receptionist to join our growing team. Position ResponsibilitiesVeterinary Assistant Duties
- Assist with a high volume of spay and neuter procedures
- Administer injections as directed by veterinarians
- Recover and monitor patients following anesthesia and surgery
- Administer medications and treatments
- Assist with patient handling and restraint
- Maintain treatment and surgical areas
- Ensure patients receive attentive, compassionate care throughout their visit
Reception Duties
- Answer phones and respond to client inquiries
- Schedule appointments and manage daily bookings
- Check patients in and out
- Review discharge instructions with clients
- Process payments and maintain accurate records
- Provide exceptional customer service in a busy clinic environment
Qualifications
- Veterinary clinic experience is required
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional
