Cook – Busy Neighborhood Pub & Sports Bar

Starting Wage: $19.00–$21.00/hr, with regular performance-based increases
About Us
We’re a high-volume, fast-paced, locally owned neighborhood pub and sports bar that’s been part of the community for 37 years. Our kitchen team is known for working hard, working together, and keeping things drama-free. Many of our staff have been here for decades — a true testament to the stability, respect, and fun working environment we offer.
The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Line Cook to join our team. This is not a prep cook position and our shifts are not flexible, please only apply if your availability aligns with ours.
- Shifts: Evenings and weekends (must be available Saturday evenings), with occasional day shifts to cover vacations.
- Shift Times:
- Day: 9:00am–5:00pm
- Night: 4:00pm-12:00pm, 5:00pm–1:00am
As a cook with us, you’ll be expected to jump in, lead when needed, follow directions when given, and thrive in a busy, energetic kitchen.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Minimum 2 years cooking in a busy pub or high-volume kitchen. You must be able to demonstrate experience cooking on a line.
- Skills: Confident on the line, with solid a la carte pub-style cooking experience.
- Attitude: Hardworking, reliable, and ready to hustle. No room for egos, laziness, or drama.
- Communication: Must be able to communicate with coworkers and follow instructions in English.
- Team Player: Comfortable in a self-managed kitchen environment where everyone preps, cooks, and cleans as part of the shift.
