Overview
We are seeking a motivated and friendly Team Member to join our dynamic food service team. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food preparation, customer service, and restaurant operations within a fast-paced environment. Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Greet customers with a friendly attitude and take their orders accurately
- Handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately, including upselling menu items when appropriate
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, kitchen stations, and dining spaces
- Ensure food safety protocols are followed at all times during food handling and preparation
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations
- Assist in serving food and beverages to customers in a timely manner
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service
- Uphold restaurant policies on sanitation, safety, and customer service standards
Skills
- Experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environments preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
- Understanding of food safety standards and sanitation procedures
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
- Kitchen experience or food industry background is advantageous
- Ability to upsell menu items naturally to enhance customer experience and sales performance
