Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Box Truck Driver with a GZ license to join our produce warehouse team. This role involves safely transporting produce between locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have warehouse experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks efficiently. Requirements:
- Valid GZ Driver's License
- Clean Driver's Abstract
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience working in a produce warehouse, food distribution, or wholesale produce environment
- Experience delivering produce and food products to restaurants and commercial customers
- Ability to perform hand-bombing and heavy lifting throughout the shift
- Strong knowledge of GTA routes and safe driving practices
- Reliable, punctual, and customer-service oriented
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a box truck for deliveries and pickups
- Deliver fresh produce and food products to restaurants and other customers
- Load and unload products manually (hand-bombing required)
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on time
- Maintain delivery paperwork and records
- Follow all company safety policies and transportation regulations
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
- Comfortable with repetitive lifting, loading, and unloading throughout the shift
- Able to work in a fast-paced warehouse and delivery environment
Shift timing: 7am to 4pm
Pay-22-23/hr
Pay: $22.00-$23.00 per hour
