Who Are You?
The position is primarily responsible for the inside sale of heavy equipment attachment product parts. The incumbent is accountable for business development, customer service, product sales and development, product training, pricing, inventory management, mentoring and reporting.
This position is privileged and has access to sensitive information pertaining to the company ranging from our corporate financial position to our strategic marketing plans, product designs and drawing, pricing structure and customer data.
Reporting to the Director of Sales, this position will collaborate with several departments to ensure customer satisfaction and business growth while fulfilling all the values of Weldco 2.0.
What Will You Do?

Parts Inventory Maintenance – checking availability, accurately quoting prices & monitoring inventory

Set-up and maintain the storage of parts and supplies according to a pre-arranged system

Adding new parts to inventory system
-
Processing returned items to inventory and issuing credits to the customer

Planning and controlling inventory based on forecasts and usage as outlined in the business plan guidelines
-
Coordinating with production to maximize our capacity for planning and scheduling; Coordinating parts order with Production Administrator

Creating, maintaining and issuing work orders
-
Checking bills and materials
-
Printing off schedule for department
-
Utilizing CAD software, provide drawings for our existing product line upon customer request
-
Assisting with the maintenance and update of our computerized scheduler, the ERP System
-
Maintain constant communication with all departments to coordinate and schedule production of products and to keep all departments informed of our production
-
Promoting and selling WBM products (including snow attachments) while employing ethical business practices
-
Negotiating and closing sales deals and maximizing the production department capability will ensure the profitability of WBM
-
Understanding, identifying and accurately relaying pertinent customer information to the engineering department for design revisions and new product development
-
Providing full customer service to ensure customer satisfaction before, during and after the sales transaction

Identifying, developing, nurturing, establishing and new customer relationships, while maintaining relationships with existing customers
-
Maintaining and updating customer contact database on a regular basis to ensure account information is accurate

Collaborating with customers to accurately forecast their potential product requirement on a quarterly and annual basis
-
Communicating with various staff to ensure customer orders are accurately processed and delivered as promised in a prompt and timely fashion

Responding to product and services inquiries promptly and efficiently

- Diploma or Certificate in a related field

Minimum of 2 years of sales experience

Proven ability to build and sustain lasting relationships with key internal stakeholders and employees
-
High degree of professionalism and a proven ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality

Knowledge of heavy duty attachment products
-
Must have a good understanding of the technical sales process and cycle
-
5S, Lean Manufacturing training considered an asset
-
Must understand ethical sales and marketing practices
-
Strong interpersonal skills to relate to all customers and co-workers at all levels
-
Basic mathematic skills to perform accurate calculations
-
Computer skills to utilize and maximize the capability of various software applications to enhance productivity

Effective interviewing skills to probe customers about their needs
-
Effective communication skills to listen, write and speak in a clear and concise manner to individuals at various levels
