Job Summary
We are on the hunt for an experienced server to join our dynamic restaurant team Tour Guiding our Southern Style Dining Room with Southern Hospitality, and working with our Management team to meet and exceed service standards!
PLS note this is a salary position, and inclusive of team tip out. Bonus' will apply based on location revenue growth, performance, upselling and leadership.
The ideal candidate will provide exceptional Southern Hospitality, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently. Prior experience in food service and familiarity with POS (Toast specifically) are highly valued. Communicating our brand promotions, upselling and ensuring our guests area returning due to outstanding service!
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive guest service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using Toast Mobile, and relay them to kitchen staff
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Handle cash and process payments accurately through cashiering functions
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met during food handling and serving
- Assist with food preparation when necessary and maintain cleanliness of dining areas
- Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring guest satisfaction
- Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management skills
- Address guest inquiries or concerns professionally to ensure a positive dining experience
- Follow all restaurant policies related to sanitation, safety, and hospitality
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems, Toast is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math for cashiering and order calculations
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables effectively during busy hours
- Basic kitchen experience or understanding of food preparation is advantageous
- Ability to upsell menu items in a professional manner to enhance guest satisfaction and sales
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed
- Hospitality-oriented mindset with a focus on guest services and hospitality standards
Pay: $65,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
