Duties
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform construction, carpentry, and repair tasks
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications
- Execute caulking, sealing, and weatherproofing procedures on various surfaces and structures
- Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks safely and efficiently
- Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of building components
- Conduct inspections to ensure quality standards are met throughout each phase of work
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within scope
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction, carpentry, or handyman roles with demonstrated proficiency in using hand tools
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately
- Knowledge of caulking techniques and weatherproofing methods preferred
- Capable of heavy lifting and performing physically demanding tasks regularly
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to construction sites
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Prior experience working with construction materials and tools is highly desirable
- Reliable transportation to job sites; valid driver’s license is a plus
