Job Summary
We are seeking vigilant and dependable Security Guards to ensure the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various security situations. This role involves monitoring surveillance systems, patrolling designated areas, and enforcing safety protocols to maintain a secure environment. This will be a On-Call Position.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security risks.
- Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to observe activity and detect suspicious behavior.
- Enforce loss prevention policies by preventing theft, vandalism, or other security breaches.
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, and coordinate with law enforcement when necessary.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes.
- Control access points by verifying credentials of visitors and employees.
- Assist in emergency situations by providing clear guidance and support to staff and visitors.
Experience
- Prior experience in law enforcement, security services, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems, CCTV operation, and loss prevention techniques is preferred.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to identify potential threats quickly.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and the public.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure while handling sensitive situations effectively.
