We are looking for both Crew Leaders/Bucket Truck Operators and Groundpersons to fill our current positions.
Education and Experience:
- Completion of Grade 12 required
- Must possess minimum G license with clean abstract
- Minimum 2 years experience in the tree care industry is a strong asset
- DZ/AZ Class driver’s license is a strong asset
- Completion of post-secondary Arboriculture program is a strong asset
- ISA Certified Arborist qualification is a strong asset
- Utility Arborist Certification is a strong asset
Experience and formal training combined with performance and ability may substitute for academic requirements
Knowledge:
- Wood Chipper operation and maintenance
- Chainsaw operation and maintenance
- Bucket truck operation is a strong asset
- Ontario health and safety policies and procedures
- Ability to drive/operate various pieces of equipment & machinery
Abilities:
- Must be able to work 8-12 hour work shifts
- Must be able to lift and carry 50lbs
- Must be able to work outdoors and in various weather conditions
- Ability to follow written and verbal instruction
- Ability to supervise/give instruction
Wage is based on position, experience, and qualifications.
Pay: $24.00-$40.00 per hour
