Automotive Service Technician – European / German Car Specialist (VW & Audi)
Calgary Autoworks is looking for a skilled, positive, and detail-oriented Licensed Journeyman Automotive Service Technician to join our team. What You Will Do:
As a small, specialized team, we all pitch in to keep our clients moving. You will be expected to perform all aspects of automotive servicing, including:
- In-Depth Diagnosis: Advanced mechanical and electrical troubleshooting using factory and premium aftermarket scan tools.
- General & Routine Service: Standard maintenance, fluid flushes, oil changes, and digital vehicle inspections.
- Under-Car & Maintenance: Wheel and tire service, brake jobs, suspension, and steering repairs.
- Climate Control: HVAC and air conditioning system diagnostics, servicing, and repairs.
- Clean Workmanship: Maintain a clean bay and accurately document your findings on repair orders.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Credentials: Must be a Licensed Journeyman Automotive Service Technician.
- Experience: Strong, proven experience working on German vehicles—specifically the VW/Audi (VAG) platform. Experience with BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Porsche is a massive bonus.
- Attitude is Everything: You must bring a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a desire to contribute to a healthy, respectful team culture.
- Versatility: Willingness to handle everything from complex electrical diagnostic puzzles to routine oil changes and tire swaps with the same level of care and precision.
- Tools: Must possess your own tools suited for European automotive repair.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license with a clean abstract.
Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour
