Job Description:
As a Wood Framer, you will be responsible for constructing the framework for buildings, including walls, roofs, and floors. You will work closely with the construction team to ensure structural integrity and accuracy. If you have a passion for woodworking and construction, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Frame walls, floors, and roofs according to blueprints and specifications.
- Measure and cut wood components to precise dimensions.
- Assemble and install wooden structures, including studs, beams, and rafters.
- Exterior soffit, fascia, and siding
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes.
- Collaborate with the construction team to ensure timely project completion.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and other equipment as necessary.
- Inspect and troubleshoot completed work for quality and structural integrity.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Wood Framer or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
- Strong knowledge of framing techniques, materials, and safety practices.
- Proficient in using hand and power tools.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor.
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
