Rite Excavation Limited (aka Rite-X) is seeking a Civil Earthworks Project Coordinator to join their growing team.
Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare and distribute project start up documentation, files and forms.
- Prepare project plans, including phasing and sequencing plans.
- Maintain project logs, including manual and electronic files.
- Prepare and distribute correspondence, including letters, memos, emails, meeting minutes, etc.
- Maintain project directories.
- Prepare and issue RFI's.
- Assist in contract and contract revision documentation.
- Assist with claims and notices.
- Prepare project reports and assist the Project Manager will all aspects of the project and administration as required.
- Collect, compile, and distribute close-out documentation.
- Other duties as required.
Required Competencies and Attributes:
- Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar.
- A minimum of three (3) years experience as a Project Coordination, with one (1) year being focused on civil earthwork practices.
- Strong knowledge of excavation and civil earthwork practices.
- Ability to pass any client required security screening background checks.
- Exceptional written communication skills.
- Understanding of CCDC contracts.
- Proficiency with MS Office, Procore, and Bluebeam.
- Able to work in a team environment, or independently.
Work Location: This is an in-office position working from the Head Office in Burlington, Ontario with occasional site visits.
