Upper East Dental & Wellness is looking for a motivated and personable Naturopathic Doctor (ND) to join our growing multidisciplinary wellness clinic.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ND who enjoys traditional naturopathic medicine but also has a strong interest in IV therapy, injectable wellness treatments, functional medicine and integrative/aesthetic health.
We are looking for the right practitioner rather than simply filling a schedule. The position can begin on a part-time, flexible basis, with the opportunity to expand hours as your practice and our wellness services grow.
The Opportunity
You will have the opportunity to develop a naturopathic practice within an established multidisciplinary healthcare environment and collaborate with other healthcare and wellness professionals.
Depending on your qualifications, training and authorized scope of practice, services may include:
- Comprehensive naturopathic consultations and follow-up care
- IV nutrient therapy
- Intramuscular vitamin and nutrient injections
- Vitamin B12 injections
- Nutritional and lifestyle medicine
- Supplement and nutraceutical recommendations
- Functional and preventative medicine
- Women's and men's health
- Healthy aging and wellness optimization
- Skin health and integrative aesthetic medicine
- Acupuncture and cosmetic acupuncture
- Other injectable or advanced wellness services within your authorized scope, training and competency
We are particularly interested in an ND who is excited about helping us develop and grow our IV and integrative wellness services.
What We're Looking For
- Registered Naturopathic Doctor in good standing with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario
- Prescribing authority
- IVIT authorization/certification strongly preferred
- Experience administering IV therapy and IM injections preferred
- Appropriate professional liability insurance
- Strong clinical judgment and commitment to evidence-informed patient care
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
- Professional, warm and confident with patients
- Comfortable working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment
- Interest in integrative medicine, wellness and/or medical aesthetics is a strong asset
- Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in building a successful long-term practice
