Position: Industrial Cleaner – Warehouse
Location: Pembroke, ON
Pay Rate: $19.00–$20.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Start Date: Immediate
One of our clients is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Industrial Cleaner to join their warehouse team in Pembroke, ON. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment while supporting daily operations through effective housekeeping and facility maintenance.
The ideal candidate will have previous industrial or warehouse cleaning experience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
· Sweep, mop, scrub, and maintain warehouse floors, aisles, and walkways.
· Remove dust, dirt,, wire debris, scrap materials, and other waste from warehouse and work areas.
· Collect, sort, and dispose of garbage, recycling, and industrial waste according to company procedures.
· Clean and maintain warehouse equipment, workstations, offices, lunchrooms, and common areas.
· Empty waste containers and replace liners as required.
· Clean and disinfect washrooms, fixtures, and high-touch surfaces.
· Wash interior windows, walls, doors, and other facility surfaces.
· Operate industrial cleaning equipment safely and effectively, including floor scrubbers, industrial vacuums, power sweepers, steam cleaners, and polishing machines.
· Identify and report safety hazards, maintenance issues, or housekeeping concerns.
· Maintain cleaning supplies and notify management when replenishment is required.
· Follow all workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
· Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial, warehouse, manufacturing, or commercial cleaning.
· Experience working in an industrial or warehouse environment.
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
· Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and move throughout the shift.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and workplace safety.
· Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
· Strong communication and organizational skills.
· Experience operating industrial cleaning equipment.
· Previous experience in a steel, manufacturing, construction, or heavy industrial environment.
Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
