The Brake Press Operator will be responsible for cutting or breaking parts for blue print specifications. The position is responsible for the formation of material. The operator will also be responsible for verifying the overall dimensions for print specifications.
Job Responsibilities/Duties: Brake Press Operator
- Receive flat material.
- Form specific part utilizing the break press to form the contour of the material.
- Store material in a designated area.
- May utilize crane to maneuver material to be formed with the break press.
- This position may require working with another worker.
- Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrates good listening skills.
- General cleaning in the area
- Obey the safety standards.
Qualifications and Skills
- Must have a minimum of 1-year experience in a shop/production environment
- Must be able to read tape measure/knowledge of material types/ must be able to operate multiple types of saw machines
