Front Desk Representative

IQ Tennis & Pickleball Centre is looking for an energetic, organized, and motivated Front Desk Representative to help deliver an outstanding experience for our members and guests.

Key Responsibilities
- Greet members, guests, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries regarding memberships, programs, schedules, and facility services.
- Process memberships, program registrations, renewals, cancellations, and payments accurately.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
- Check members and guests into the facility and verify memberships.
- Provide information about fitness classes, sports programs, rentals, and special events.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
- Resolve customer concerns or complaints professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including balancing the cash drawer.
- Monitor facility access and follow safety, security, and emergency procedures.
- Perform general administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and preparing reports.
- Support other departments as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.Lead and support front desk staff
- Assist members with bookings and accounts using CourtReserve
- Help resolve customer concerns professionally
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous customer service, reception, hospitality, or recreation experience is an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and POS or registration software.
- Ability to handle cash and process transactions accurately.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Compensation
- Approximately $16~18/hour depending on experience ( Full time 30~35hr)
