Responsibilities
- Perform haircuts, styling, coloring, and other hair treatments according to client preferences and current trends.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, tools, and equipment to ensure a safe environment for clients.
- Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide professional advice on hair care and styling options.
- Manage front desk duties including scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and handling payments.
- Promote retail products and services through effective upselling techniques while providing excellent customer service.
- Build lasting relationships with clients by delivering consistent quality service and follow-up care.
Qualifications
- Valid barber or cosmetology license as required by state regulations.
- Proven experience in hair styling with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clientele.
- Experience in retail sales is preferred, with an understanding of upselling techniques.
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
