Retail Area Manager / Field Operator, Multi-Branch Execution
Location: Ontario, Field-Based
Compensation: $50,000 to $60,000 base salary
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Work Location: On the road
The Reality of This Role
Cash 4 You operates a 78-store retail financial services network across Ontario. We are redesigning retail operations around a system-managed model: clear standards, live scorecards, branch audits, training triggers, operating routines, and field execution.
This is not a traditional District Manager role.
We are not looking for someone who drives from branch to branch asking how the day is going, forwarding reports, and managing by vibes. We are looking for a hands-on retail operator who can take a clear operating signal, walk into the branch, inspect reality, coach the team, close the issue, and document what changed.
Technology can show where the problem is. It cannot stand in the branch, watch the customer interaction, correct the routine, inspect the glass, reinforce the sales conversation, or determine whether the team actually understands the standard.
That is the Field Operator’s job.
What You Will Actually Do
You will support an assigned portfolio of Cash 4 You branches. The role typically begins with a focused portfolio of approximately 3 to 5 branches and may expand toward 6 to 10 branches as performance, judgment, and branch impact are proven.
You will:
- Visit branches based on operating signals, risk, and assigned priorities.
- Validate what is actually happening inside the store.
- Reinforce standards around customer service, sales execution, collections activity, compliance, documentation, branch appearance, opening routines, and closing routines.
- Coach frontline employees using company standards, scripts, checklists, and scorecards.
- Support new-hire stabilization and help employees become productive faster.
- Close repeat issues, not just talk about them.
- Submit clear field notes showing the problem, observed reality, action taken, evidence, and next step.
- Help identify strong employees who may be ready for broader responsibility.
- Escalate issues honestly when a branch, employee, process, or system is not working.
What This Role Is Not
This is not a desk job.
This is not a “visit and chat” role.
This is not a traditional District Manager role where every branch becomes your personal kingdom.
This is not a role for someone who wants to manage by personality, opinion, or vague branch visits.
You will work inside a structured operating system. The company standard is the standard. Your job is to make it real inside the branches.
Who You Are
You may be a strong Store Manager, Branch Manager, Area Supervisor, Assistant District Manager, Training Store Manager, or hands-on retail operator ready to move into multi-location responsibility.
You do not need to have managed 50 stores.
You do need to know how to improve store execution.
The strongest candidates may come from high-accountability retail environments such as:
- Telecom retail
- QSR or fast casual restaurants
- Rent-to-own
- Pawn or consumer finance
- Fitness or membership sales
- Automotive service or tire retail
- High-volume customer-facing retail
What We Are Looking For
You are a fit if you:
- Prefer being in the field over sitting in an office.
- Notice branch details other people excuse.
- Can read a scorecard and identify the controllable issue.
- Can coach a frontline employee clearly and directly.
- Can handle hard conversations without drama.
- Can separate effort from results.
- Can follow a system without inventing your own local rules.
- Can write clear, factual notes about what happened and what changed.
- Care about customer experience, sales execution, cleanliness, compliance, and accountability.
What Success Looks Like
You will be measured by whether branches improve, not by how many visits you complete.
Success means:
- Repeated issues decline.
- Branch standards improve.
- Employees execute required routines more consistently.
- Sales and follow-up behaviors become stronger.
- Collections activity and documentation improve.
- New employees become productive faster.
- Branches become cleaner, sharper, and more disciplined.
- Your field notes create a clear evidence trail.
Compensation and Growth
This role is posted at $50,000 to $60,000 base salary.
Performance bonus eligibility may become available as the employee demonstrates measurable operating impact across the assigned branch portfolio.
This is a complex retail financial services environment. Strong field operators must learn the mechanics of lending, collections, customer risk, compliance, documentation, sales behavior, branch standards, and portfolio performance. That learning curve is real.
The first stage of success is not “earning bonus.” The first stage is proving that you can understand the business, operate inside the system, improve branch execution, close issues, and produce evidence of impact.
Broader portfolio scope and stronger performance upside are earned through demonstrated branch improvement, issue closure, field discipline, and operating judgment.

Vacancy Status
This posting is for an existing vacancy.
Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
Application question(s):
- Describe a specific time you improved execution in a store, branch, district, or multi-location operation.
What was broken, what data or evidence showed the problem, what did you physically change in the operation, how did you handle underperformance, and what measurable result followed?
Be specific. We are looking for real examples, not general leadership language.
