Job Description: 1-3 SHIFTS PER WEEK - APPROX 4PM-9PM & WEEKEND MORNINGS/AFTERNOONS
Jetana is currently hiring temporary part-time concession worker at the Oakridge Community Association arena.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare food and beverage orders according to standard recipes and customer orders
- Engage with customers, take orders, process payments, and provide product recommendations to enhance customer experience
- Perform opening duties such as preparing food for the day using directions
- Operate and clean food equipment according to set standards
- Clean the concession area and sweep the arena sitting area at the end of the shift.
- Use a POS system and accept payments, handling cash, debit, and credit cards
- Monitor inventory
- Remove kitchen garbage and recycling
- Follow health and safety guidelines including safe food handling procedures
Start Date: September 2026
Requirements:
- Responsible, dependable individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to follow recipes accurately to ensure consistent quality
- Demonstrate meticulous cleaning habits, ensuring all areas and equipment are cleaned and sanitized to health and safety standards
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact positively with customers
- Consistent attendance and punctuality in adherence to scheduled shifts
- Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
Working conditions:
- Part-time, 1-3 shifts per week
- Most shifts will be around 4pm-9pm during weekdays and weekend mornings/afternoons
- Working unsupervised as well as working as part of a team
