Our client, a leading civil contractor in the Lower Mainland, delivers complex infrastructure projects including earthworks, roadbuilding, excavation & shoring, and underground utilities. They are seeking a Project Coordinator to support project delivery and assist project teams with the successful execution of civil infrastructure projects.
- Support Project Managers and Superintendents with day-to-day project coordination activities.
- Assist with project planning, scheduling, cost tracking, and document control.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field crews to help ensure projects stay on schedule.
- Prepare and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, and progress reports.
- Assist with procurement activities and material tracking.
- Maintain project documentation, meeting minutes, permits, and project records.
- Support progress billings, quantity tracking, and project forecasting.
- Conduct site visits as required to support field operations and monitor project progress.
- Promote and uphold health, safety, and environmental standards.
- 1–5 years of experience in civil construction as a Project Coordinator, Field Coordinator, EIT, or similar role.
- Experience or exposure to earthworks, roadworks, excavation & shoring, and underground utilities projects considered a strong asset.
- Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
