Job description:
Stem and Seed Behaviour Consultation is seeking 1–2 Behaviour Interventionists (BIs) to join our growing team in Surrey. We support children and youth ranging from early intervention (age 2+) through high school.
Programming includes:
- Play-based early intervention goals
- Social skills and emotional regulation
- Executive functioning
- Community outings and real-life skill building
- Communication
- Life skills
All programming is designed and supervised by BCBA Gureet Takhar. Client-specific training and ongoing supervision will be provided.
Afternoon / After-school hours and weekends
Ideal candidates can commit to at least 2–3 consistent sessions per week.
Ideal Candidate
- At least 1 year working with children or youth on the spectrum
- Able to build rapport with children, engage them and utilize instructional control
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Strong attention to detail
- Stay calm in high-stress environments
- Excellent problem solver, creative in solutions, takes initiative
- Able to take feedback and implement programming consistently
- Comfortable working in home and community settings
- Access to own means of transportation
- Comfortable working on life skills such as toileting and feeding
- Can provide 2 references relevant to Behaviour Interventionist job
- Can provide criminal record check upon request
