We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Bottle Exchange Attendant to join our team! As a Bottle Exchange Attendant, your primary responsibility will be to assist customers in returning their bottles/cans, and non-ferrous metals, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for everyone. You'll engage with customers, answer their questions, and provide information about the deposit-return process and metals we purchase. This position offers a chance to contribute to environmental sustainability and connect with community members who share similar values. Whether it’s helping someone navigate the exchange process or sharing tips on containers eligible for refund, you'll play a vital role in fostering a community committed to making a difference. Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers during bottle and can exchanges.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Handle cash and manage transactions accurately.
- Sort and count returned bottles and cans for inventory.
- Identify and weigh non-ferrous metals
- Provide exceptional customer service and address any inquiries or concerns.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a friendly attitude.

- Experience in retail or customer service preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Workplace is cold in the winter and hot in the summer.
- Able to work full time 40 hours per week, including Saturday
- Preference given to candidates with forklift experience
