Receptionist / Administrative Assistant (Full-Time)
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable full-time Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our orthotic and medical equipment supply office in West Edmonton. This role is essential in maintaining smooth office operations and providing exceptional customer service.
The ideal candidate is a friendly, team-oriented individual who is skilled at managing multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Prior administrative experience is considered an asset.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner
- Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
- Process payments and assist with billing and insurance/claim inquiries
- Review client files to ensure required documentation is complete and accurate
- Perform data entry and maintain up-to-date client records with detailed notes
- Coordinate client pickup and delivery of medical equipment and supplies
- Monitor and respond to email inquiries
- Provide administrative support to team members as needed
- Follow up on service tickets and communicate updates to relevant business areas
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area and ensure office supplies are stocked
Qualifications
- Prior administrative or office experience is an asset but not required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and file management
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Comfortable using phone systems and standard office equipment (printers, copiers, etc.)
- Willingness to learn new software systems
- Professional phone and email etiquette
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Schedule
- Full-time position
- Includes Saturdays as part of the regular schedule
- Weekday shifts required (schedule to be discussed during interview)
